Nominate Your Young Volunteer for Regional Volunteer of the Year 2023

This award recognises a Swim England South West Young Volunteer from any aquatic discipline who, at a young age, has shown commitment to
volunteering at their club, county, region or nationally.
Their volunteering is making a positive impact and this volunteer is a great example of a role model for others. The volunteering activity can be club,
county, regional or national based and is delivered through a Swim England
South West club environment and in recognised activity.
The nominee will have a clear passion for the Sport and will have made a
commitment to volunteering through their volunteering role.
There is no requirement for the nomination to detail activity at every level, the importance is placed on the impact of the volunteering activity.
Criteria: −

• Must be a member of a Club Affiliated to Swim England South West in any category.
• Must be active in a club setting on a regular basis
• Volunteering activity can include (but, is not limited to) officiating, teaching, coaching, administrating, mentoring, event volunteering, marketing and communications etc, etc.
• Must be aged between 15 and 21 years of age (as at 31st July 2023)
• Must not be paid

The nomination may contain details of activities older than 12 months but with notable achievements in the last 12 months.

The Nomination must come from the club.

The closing date for nominations is 5th November 2023.
